Henderson County High School welcomes Stephen Haile as the new head coach for the Henderson County Girls Basketball team. Haile has over eleven years of experience in coaching basketball including time as the Assistant Girls Basketball coach at HCHS. He has been the Head Girls Basketball Coach of Daviess County High School since 2021.
Haile received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Southern Indiana and his Master of Teacher Leadership Specialization in Physical Education and Health from the University of the Cumberlands. He is currently a Physical Education teacher at Henderson County High School.
Additionally, Haile is a member of the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches and the Kentucky High School Coaches Association.
“It’s an honor to accept the Henderson County girls basketball job,” notes Haile. “It’s become one of the premier girls basketball programs in the state of Kentucky, and I hope to continue the standard of excellence and commitment that has been instilled into the program.”
Henderson County High School Athletic Director Mark Andrews noted, “We are excited to announce Coach Stephen Haile as the next Lady Colonels Basketball Coach. We believe that he is the right person to continue building a program that prides itself on dedication and hard work.”
