February 15th was National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and although it fell on a Sunday this year, we wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible SROs.
Our School Resource Officers do so much more than keep our schools safe. They build meaningful relationships with our students, serve as mentors, offer guidance, and help create a positive and secure learning environment across Henderson County Schools.
Their presence brings comfort to students, staff, and families alike, and their commitment does not go unnoticed.
Please join us in thanking our SROs for their dedication, service, and the care they show our schools each and every day. We are grateful for all that you do!

After several days of NTI instruction due to weather conditions, we were so glad to welcome our students and staff back to school in person today.
Seeing classrooms full, hallways busy, and learning happening face-to-face is always a great reminder of why our schools matter so much. Thank you to our families and staff for your flexibility, patience, and support as we worked through the weather together.
