👀❄️ We are watching the weather closely and monitoring the potential snow/ice from the National Weather Service.
It’s too early to know how next week’s school schedule may be impacted, but if changes are needed, families will be notified by a phone call from Dr. Lawson, a text message, and on the HCS Facebook page.
As a reminder, please rely on official notifications from HCS for cancellations or delays. We also share updates with local television stations and WSON radio.
Student and staff safety will always come first. Stay safe and stay tuned!

Our staff had the opportunity to participate in an Extended Learning Day on Monday, providing valuable professional development time for collaboration, planning, and preparing for the spring semester.
It was especially meaningful to see our PE teachers and Arts teachers from across the district — representing multiple grade levels — come together to collaborate and plan programs and opportunities for students. This work reflects our commitment to Pursue Excellence in everything we do as we create meaningful learning experiences for every student. 🎨🏀📚
