Congratulations to our Henderson County High School Outstanding Alumni Class of 2023!
Henderson County High School inducted the 2023 Outstanding Alumni Award recipients on Monday, November 27, 2023. Joel Hopper, Robert “Robby” Mills, and Mike Waller were inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame and Sarah Crick Vowels was honored as the Outstanding Young Alumna.
Henderson County High School encourages all students to dream big and chase their dreams. The Outstanding Alumni Awards recognize a select few who have gone above and beyond in their respective career fields or community. Whether it is building the next generation of leaders through public service, education, and healthcare, or having a boundless impact on business and economic development, the achievements of these individuals reach far and wide. Their priority to put service above self is something that can inspire us all.
We want to extend a special note of appreciation to our 2023 selection committee, which is composed of Henderson County citizens representing numerous community sectors. We also would like to express our gratitude to the community members who took the time to nominate over 30 deserving individuals this year. Nominations for the Outstanding Alumni Awards will open to the public toward the end of Summer 2024, which will continue to be advertised on our social media pages and website.
