- **Counselors will go over the following topics: graduation requirements, AP courses, CTE Pathways, Math/English sequences, and Summer School options (if you are interested in getting PE/Health out of the way before August 2024)
Unit Request Form
- HCHS Unit Request for Siblings Google Form
- Due by March 1st
- **Currently the Site-Based Decision-Making Council has a policy stating that parents may request to have their children in the SAME unit or their children in DIFFERENT units. Parents may not request a specific unit for the child, but they may request that the children be together or separated.
HCHS Literacy Night and Unit Reveal
- March 28th
- Henderson County High School - Auxiliary Gym
- 5:30-7:00 pm
- **All current and incoming students/families are welcome to attend the free event, 8th-grade students will receive their Unit designation (if you are unable to attend, all Unit designations will be sent to the middle schools following spring break)
Freshman Orientation
- TBD - it is tentatively scheduled for the week before school begins
- Henderson County High School
- **ALL Freshmen students will attend a half-day Freshman Orientation where they will receive their schedule, walk through the building, meet all of their teachers, commit to graduate (handprint on the 2028 letters), and attend a Colonel Rally before leaving for the day. An event they do not want to miss!
- ***There will also be a Freshman Parent Night that evening to follow - a very informative event for all incoming families!
