Meal Program
Henderson County Schools Participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program
As part of this program, all schools district wide will offer a healthy breakfast and lunch every school day at no cost to students. Families will be asked to complete a household income application for household to maintain other areas of funding. The household income application is also used to qualify students for other programs under Title 1, Title II, book fees, AP exam cost and other student fees other than lunch expenses.
Students will still owe for any charges incurred prior to being placed this program or the CEP program. Students will not be allowed to charge extra(s), such as ice cream or ala carte items if charges are owed. The meal program covers the regular reimbursable meal only for breakfast and lunch.
