Purchasing
The technology department would like to work with you on finding the right technology for your needs. If you need help determining your needs, please email hendersonhelpdesk@henderson.kyschools.us the requirements and the details of the project, grant, or request and we will follow-up with our best pricing and recommendations. If you have already identified the needed equipment, please follow the steps listed below.
Purchasing Process
• Send an email to hendersonhelpdesk@henderson.kyschools.us with the technology items listed you would like to purchase, quote if you already have one, and your filled out purchase order. Please be specific and include item/model/part number if you can. We will be glad to assist you in obtaining a quote from our vendors.
• Vendor address are located here.
• Please click here to see current prices and device commodity codes. All other commodity codes are listed here. You can use this link, http://kpc4me.com/all-awarded-contracts/, to see all district awarded contracts.
• The order will be placed according to what is sent into the technology help desk. School retains purchase order. Please remember to commodity code your PO.
• When the items arrive, the location will be contacted to arrange a time for installation/delivery.
• When ordering from Monoprice follow these steps:
Fill out your purchase order.
Scan it to your email.
Send an email to po@monoprice.com with the scanned purchase order attached.
You will receive an email confirmation shortly with your order details in it.
Never try to order online or fax orders to Monoprice.

Fill out your purchase order.
Scan it to your email.

Crowdfunding
Guidance for technology purchases using crowdfunding methods:
All technology items must meet district technology standards and require approval from the Director of Technology prior to the crowdfunding effort being publicly posted.
Device Standards:
Desktop / Laptop / Tablet
Dell or Apple that meet the following standards
Desktop/Laptop minimum of 8GB Memory
Desktop/Laptop minimum of 128GB Solid State Hard Drive
Desktop/Laptop must have A/C Wifi or 1Gbps Ethernet Capability
Desktop/Laptop minimum of Intel core i5 CPU
Tablet minimum 128GB storage
