The Henderson County Schools Technology Department supports the technological needs of the students and staff of Henderson County Schools. Henderson County schools is a 1:1 district Pre-K through 12th grade. Pre-K students have tablets available that are not internet connected devices that run educational software only. Students in Grades K-12 are issued a touch screen chromebook that is used for instruction daily.
Our classrooms all feature advanced technology including robust wireless internet systems, 4K interactive panel displays, and updated instructional computers. Sound amplification systems have also been added for newly constructed classrooms the last several years.
The department also supports all district owned software applications and subscriptions, mobile apps, district and school websites, parent communication systems, Internet filtering, access control & building security, Google accounts and applications, all district staff & student accounts and email, plus all back end network infrastructure.
The dedicated staff members in this department are committed to supporting the technological needs of all Henderson County students, faculty and staff members.
