Our CTE Welding and Construction Students competed at the state level for Skills USA in Louisville this past week.
Ethan Cole, Harrison Shaw, and Caleb Gorrell won 1st place in the Welding/Fabrication Competition!
Ryan Larcomb won 1st place in Technical Math!
We are so proud of all of their dedication and commitment to Skills USA. It definitely paid off! GO, COLONELS!

We will be dismissing early in order for all of our school buses to be safely off the road before the severe weather starts. Our elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. and our secondary schools will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. Child Care will be open until 3:30 p.m. There will be no after-school activities. Henderson County Schools Archery teams will be headed to a state competition this weekend in Louisville. Best of luck to all our students participating and a big thank you to the coaches and volunteers that make this sport possible for our students.

Congratulations to Kyler Hazelwood who won the local, district, state, and regional Elk's Hoop Shoot. Kyler will go on to compete at the National Level at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Kyler is in the 6th grade at North Middle School 🏀📣#WePursueExcellence
